This morning we did our jobs and listened to announcements.  Then we read our books.  We went to music and science.  After lunch we had guidance.  We did some math and started division.  We listened to music and went out to recess.  After recess we worked on our journals and read our books.

This morning we listened to announcements and when announcements were done we read our books.  We started talking about mysteries and looked over our paper about our Detective's Dictionary.  Then we started doing guided reading.  After guided reading we went to the gym for PE.  After that we did our spelling test and then we started social studies.  Then we had lunch and recess.  We read a story and started writing.  Then we had math and Mrs. Zanios.  After recess we read a book and played around the world.

We made goodbye cards to Ricki.  Ms. Staudt read a story then we did guided reading.  We had music, reading buddies, and social studies.  After lunch we had art, writing, and math.

This mornign we came in and did morning jobs and read.  Then it was a reading test with 20 question.  Then we did guided reading, PE, a spelling test and science.  After lunch and recess we did writing, talked about helping the city, and did math.

This morning we did a comprehension reading test, then we went to IC Skills.  Then we did spelling practice by using new activities with a partner.  Then we did social studies and played games to practice for a test.  Next we ate lunch.  Then when we came in from recess we had Mrs. Anderson talk about inventions.  Then we did writing and finished a story and math.  Then recess and reading.

I didn't get an update from my student blogger today, but I'll do my best to let you know what went on! This morning we finished reading our story for the week, took a social studies test, and had an extra practice for our music program tomorrow.  (Our program is at 2:45 - you are all invited!)  After lunch we had art and worked on perimeter and area in math class.  Our technology wasn't working quite right so math was a bit of an adventure for a little while!  After recess we finished up our first round of math centers and based on the papers I've seen, they are a hit!  We're looking forward to our music program tomorrow!

First we came in and did the number of the day, it was 59.  Next was the announcements.  Then Miss Staudt said the learning goals for today, the schedule, and what we were doing.  We had pajama day and we were having a cozy day - it was fun!  It was way noisy this morning though, Miss Staudt even said!  Next we got out our reading book and read our story - The Kids' Invention Book.  Then we went to PE and everyone got sweaty because their pajamas were hot.  Next we played Sparkle, it is a really fun game!  Then we went to science, read a good book, and went to lunch and recess.  It was cccoooolllddd outside!  Miss Staudt let us have nap time for 5 minutes when we came in and then we talked about what needs to change in Mason City.  Next we wrote again about our "Nothing Ever Happens in Miss Staudt's Class" stories.  Next we did math.  Then Ethan shared some sand he got from Austrailia.  It was full of different colors.  After recess we went to see our reading buddies do their play and got to do some reading.

We're back at the blogging!  Sorry for the week off last week!

First we read for about 10 minutes.  Next we did guided reading.  Then we went to IC Skills and Mrs. Staudt showed us her website.  It is called Click it 2 learn.  Next we took the spelling pretest.  Then we had social studies and we played Jeopardy, team one won.  Then we read the London Eye Mystery.  Next we had lunch and recess.  Then we had writing.  We wrote a bit of a story called "Nothing Ever Happens in Miss Staudt's Class."  Then the janitors opened the window and everyone was pretty much shivering.  Then everyone went to get their coats.  Next we had math.  It was fun, we got to play with pretzels.  Next we went out to recess.  Then we played social studies bingo.  Three people won and they all got smart beads.  Finally, we went home.

We read quietly this morning, went over classroom rules, and went to IC Skills.  We played a game called Hazard Mountain.  It was a close game.  Lunch was fun.  We had a thing called mixed lunch - both 4th grade classes sat by any person we wanted to.  Then we did math and had recess.

Dustin is here!  We had WINGS and music, then we read.  Then we went to science.  Lunch was fun but recess was more fun!  We came in and had guidance, writing, and math.  After second recess we had a snack and went home.

Today we got back from our break and the room is changed up.  We are getting a new student tomorrow.  His name is Dustin.  We were writing what we know about wolves.  After that we went to PE and played Junk  (I think).  We came back to the room and read for at least 20 minutes.  Then we made a poster of our vocabulary.  We went to lunch and had recess and after recess two teachers came in to our room and we got 1 token from each teacher for our recess behavior.  We got 7 stars too so we got 3 tokens for that.  We did math and had a little test.
